Great weather for pics

I am a bit confuzled... we've been having really nice weather for a fair few days now. What's going on? Isn't there supposed to be snow at this time of year? Last year there was. Better stop complaining or it might come back.

I've had the camera out now that the pacas are less bedraggled (some still manage it - there are always one or two).

I was hoping to get some posing shots of our young male Saligo so we can get him on to the market shortly once his fleece sample's been tested.

Would he stand? Would he put his ears up? He is one of the ones that manages to look a bit messy even when the conditions are good. It's just his personality - he rolls in things and manages to get all sorts of VM (vegetal matter, don't you know) in his fleece. He's dense and grows a l..o....o....o...o...t of the stuff so there's no chance of him looking pristine.

I got one shot of him that wasn't too bad (apart from cutting off his lovely feet - be assured there is nothing wrong with those but bad photography!).

The rest are just shots of some of the others who were looking good in the sunlight.

Saligo, son of EP Cambridge In the Groove, and a Ruffo grandson.

Sal's head - ears up boy!!!
Enigmatic Bella, a fine Rural Allianza plantel girl

Young stud Nevis, Bella's very nice son.

Tannara - fleece limits vision!

Lovely photos - think you spoke too soon about the weather, not looking good for your area, hopefully won't last long.
