It is Lorna of Ardo Alpacas in Aberdeenshire, where our young males and studs are currently residing.
She is coming to take them away on Saturday. No doubt it will be a sad occasion for us as our plans have not worked out, but we are happy that Lorna will be able to trek them on her own land and in the lovely surrounding countryside.
Then in the afternoon it will be shearing time for the main alpaca herd with Aussie shearer James Dixon and hiss assistant. By all accounts they do a top-notch job, so we look forward to it. Fingers crossed that the weather will be dry.
Talking of boys - the young guys are coming along well. Here are Groove sons Saligo and Strathy taken on Sunday.
